LA JEFA, es el nuevo álbum de Alicia Villarreal, y estará disponible a partir del 21 de julio.
WOODLAND HILLS, CA, ABRIL 27, 2009-- Tras el éxito obtenido con su álbum Orgullo de mujer, esa magnífica placa dirigida por el mítico Joan Sebastian, en el 2006, y que gracias a los cortes “Insensible a ti” (tema de la telenovela Duelo de Pasiones), “El Rollito”, y “Me Gustas”, se transformó en otra estrella en la carrera de ALICIA VILLARREAL, los minutos caminaban lentos para sus millones de fanáticos en México y los Estados Unidos. Para fortuna de ellos y la escena, ésta dilatada espera terminó.
A partir de hoy lunes 27 de abril, las venas de la radio mexicana y estadounidense estarán inundadas de un plasma especial a través de “Caso Perdido”, el primer sencillo que se desprende de LA JEFA, un álbum donde ALICIA VILLARREAL vuelve a dejar constancia plena de sus extendidas dotes a la hora de interpretar con desbordada pasión, el sentimiento, la alegría y el coraje de las mujeres mexicana, representada ahora en un single donde la Güera consentida se lamenta de una “historia con triste final”.
“Caso perdido”, narración quebrantada por la desilusión de un proyecto que se derrumbo como castillo de arena golpeado por las olas (“Nunca fuimos tal para cual …Y tal vez yo soñé con tu amor, y el amor nunca existió”, canta ALICIA VILLARREAL con mucho sentimiento en este primer corte). Debe su inspiración letrística a Nahuel Shajris y Claudia Brant, y desde sus primeros acordes, arropados por la fuerza de las tenaces sonoridades de la música popular mexicana, se perfila como un verdadero clásico del género norteño.
Al igual que con “Caso perdido”, sencillo que terminará alojado en la mente y el corazón de millones de mexicanos a partir de hoy, LA JEFA fue producido por Cruz Martínez, con quien vuelve a trabajar en materia artística tal como sucedió en el 2004 con el disco Cuando el corazón se cruza. Álbum que se posesionó de las listas de popularidad de Mexico, USA, Centro y Sudamérica, el Caribe, España gracias al dueto con David Bisbal, y que le dio a ganar un Grammy Latino como “mejor producción grupera del año”.
