Miami, FL (Nov. 18, 2008) - After breaking the record for the most NUMBER ONE Latin songs on Billboard and 34 weeks after his 95/08 Exitos album release, Enrique’s continues to hold the #1 spot in sales with the most sold album which has already surpassed 300,000 sold in the United States and Puerto Rico. The release of his latest ENGLISH album “GREATEST HITS” , the nomination for FAVORITE ARTIST at the American Music Awards and a platinum record in Mexico for 95/08 Exitos have made him unstoppable in the music industry.

In the midst of the mega success with his Spanish album, Enrique releases his “GREATEST HITS” English album and garners a nomination for FAVORITE ARTIST FOR LATIN MUSIC at the 36TH annual American Music Awards; a category in which includes other artist such as the five time Latin Grammy winner Juanes and the number one reggeton duo Wisin y Yandel. Not only is Enrique nominated but he will be presenting one of the awards of the show LIVE from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles this Sunday November 23rd at 8pm.

Enrique began the month of November receiving a platinum record in Mexico for certified sales of more than 80,000 95/08 EXITOS albums. Handed to him by Victor Gonzalez, President of Universal Music Mexico and Central America; Robbie Lear, Vice President of Universal Music; and Cesar Castro, International Label Manager, he was grateful to receive such recognition from a country he considers the maker of his career. On top of that, he was the international star guest at the Premios TELEHIT awards in Acapulco where he sang two songs and received the award for BEST POP ARTIST from the hands of Mexican singer Alejandra Guzman.

The release of this latest album “GREATEST HITS” including 14 hits in addition to three un-edited songs: "Talking Back My Love" featuring Ciara, "I Miss You" a duet with Nadyia and “Away”, has had Enrique traveling from coast to coast promoting his album and the single AWAY featuring Sean Garrett. The song has made its debut on some of the world’s most important broadcasts including LIVE with Regis and Kelly and The Today Show as well as all over Europe. The CD became available in stores Tuesday November 11th .

Enrique can now be found in New York but making his way to Los Angeles at the end of this week where he will be on the Late Late show with Craig Ferguson this Friday. From there he will travel down to South America where he will visit Peru, Chile and Bolivia to continue with promotion through the end of the year; a year which will go down in history as one the most successful…so far!
