SAN JUAN, PR (28 de octubre). Wisin y Yandel acaban de regresar a sus hogares en Puerto Rico tras lograr ÉXITO TOTAL en su primera gira estadounidense, con llenos totales en: Staples Center de Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden en Nueva York, American Airlines Arena en Miami, The Arena at Gwinnett Center en Atlanta, Amway Arena en Orlando, el Allstate Arena en Chicago, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium en San Francisco, Jobing.com Arena en Phoenix, San Diego Sports Arena en San Diego, Escapade 2006 en Houston, Dodge Arena en Mc Allen y el Laredo Entertainment Center en Laredo.

La gira, producida por AEG Live/Goldenvoice, ha sido tan exitosa que por demanda popular regresarán en la primavera del 2010 para una segunda parte.

Wisin y Yandel conquistaron a miles de fanáticos en 15 conciertos donde el público se mantuvo de pie gritando, bailando y coreando durante un espectáculo que los transportó a otra dimensión con un show impresionante de visuales, luces, pirotecnia y sonido. Acompañados por 8 bailarines y una banda en vivo, el dúo interpretó mas de 20 canciones incluyendo sus éxitos: “Rakata”, “Yo Te Quiero”, “Pam Pam”, “Llame Pa Verte”, “Sexy Movimiento”, “Ahora Es”, “Me Estas Tentando”, “Abusadora” y su mas reciente sencillo “Gracias a Ti”.

Los conciertos del dúo suelen a incluir invitados sorpresa y en Estados Unidos contaron con invitados de la talla de 50 Cent (en Nueva York), Akon (en Atlanta), T-Pain (en Miami y Los Angeles), Tego Calderón (en Nueva York y Los Angeles) y el artista de WY Records, Franco “El Gorila” (en todas las ciudades).

La mas reciente producción discográfica del dúo, “La Revolución”, ha recibido Disco de Doble Platino en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico, Disco de Platino en Mexico, y Discos de Oro en Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala y El Salvador.

Wisin y Yandel acaban de ganar Premios MTV por Artista del Año y Canción del Año (por Abusadora) y este año fueron los únicos artistas latinos nominados a un MTV Video Music Award (nominación por Mejor Video Pop junto a Beyonce, Britney Spears y Lady Gaga).

Wisin y Yandel tienen tres nominaciones al GRAMMY Latino: Mejor Album de Musica Urbana por “La Revolución”; Mejor Canción Urbana por “Abusadora” y Mejor Canción Urbana por “Mujeres in the Club” (con 50 Cent). La décima entrega anual del GRAMMY® Latino se celebrará el 5 de noviembre en Las Vegas, Nevada y se transmitirá en vivo por Univision. Además, ha sido nominado por segundo año consecutivo para un American Music Award al Mejor Artista de Música Latina. Los American Music Awards se transmitirán en vivo por la cadena ABC el 22 de noviembre.

En noviembre el dúo se encargará de prepararse para sus conciertos en el Coliseo de Puerto Rico el 5 y 6 de diciembre y luego en México, así como para el estreno de su próximo álbum “La Evolución” que estará a la venta mundialmente a partir del 24 de noviembre.

“La Evolución” es una continuación del exitoso álbum “La Revolución”, con 5 temas inéditos y repleto de “remixes” y nuevas producciones de las canciones de “La Revolución”. “La Evolución” contiene colaboraciones con los artistas: 50 Cent, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, T-Pain, Aventura, Ivy Queen, Ednita Nazario, Franco “El Gorila”, Gadiel y Yomo. The 10th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live from Las Vegas, November 5th on Univision. During the month of November, the duo will get ready for their upcoming concerts at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on December 5th and 6th as well as in Mexico (dates TBA), as well as the release of their upcoming album “La Evolución” which will be on sale worldwide starting November 24th.

“La Evolución” is a revamped version of previous album “La Revolución”, which includes 5 brand new tracks as well as remixes and new versions of the songs in the successful CD. The album features a myriad of prominent artists, including: 50 Cent, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, T-Pain, Aventura, Ivy Queen, Ednita Nazario, Franco “El Gorila”, Gadiel and Yomo. It also includes never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of Wisin & Yandel’s worldwide tour and the music videos for “Gracias A Ti” (including the version with Iglesias), “Imagínate” and “Abusadora” (which garnered an MTV VMA 2009 nomination).
