Top-selling Latin artists Wisin & Yandel have been nominated for an American Music Award for Favorite Latin Artist for the second consecutive year.

The American Music Awards will be broadcast live on ABC on Sunday November 22nd at 8pm EST.

“La Revolución”, Wisin & Yandel’s most recent album, is Double Platinum in the US and Puerto Rico, Platinum in Mexico and Gold in Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.

The Grammy award-winning duo currently has three Latin GRAMMY nominations: Best Urban Latin Album for “La Revolución”, Best Urban Song for “Abusadora” and Best Urban Song for “Mujeres in the Club” (featuring 50 Cent).

Wisin & Yandel were the only Latin nominees on the MTV Video Music Awards 2009; and they currently lead the list of nominees for Premios MTV 2009 with a total of six nominations: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (Abusadora), Best Urban Artist, Best Group or Duo, Best Ringtone and Video of the Year (Abusadora).
