HOLLYWOOD, CA (13 de octubre, 2009). Wisin y Yandel acaban de filmar el video de la canción “Imagínate”, una colaboración con el cantante de Hip Hop T-Pain que saldrá en el próximo álbum del dúo “La Evolución”. El video contó con la participación de tres jóvenes actores Latinos que están triunfando en Hollywood, el puertorriqueño Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break y Transformers), la colombiana Paula Garcés (The Shield) y el venezolano-americano Wilmer Valderrama (That 70s Show).
El director y productor de Hollywood Jessy Terrero, estuvo a cargo de la dirección del video que se filmó al estiló película en un cementerio en las afueras de Los Angeles. La trama cuenta una historia dramática de un triangulo amoroso entre Garcés, Nolasco y Valderrama que llega a sufrir consecuencias trágicas. Wisin y Yandel forman parte del drama como amigos de uno de los protagonistas.
El video de “Imagínate” saldrá en el mes de noviembre, ya que el dúo recientemente estrenó el video de “Gracias A Ti”, segundo sencillo del álbum multi-platino “La Revolución” y pronto lanzarán el video de la versión de “Gracias A Ti” con Enrique Iglesias que formará parte de “La Evolución”.
El próximo álbum del dúo “La Evolución”, que estará a la venta a partir del 24 de noviembre, es una continuación del exitoso álbum “La Revolución”, con 5 temas inéditos y repleto de “remixes” y nuevas producciones de las canciones de “La Revolución”. “La Evolución” contiene colaboraciones con los artistas: 50 Cent, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, T-Pain, Aventura, Ivy Queen, Ednita Nazario, Franco “El Gorila”, Gadiel y Yomo. Además incluye un DVD con pietaje nunca antes visto de Wisin y Yandel tras bastidores durante su gira mundial así como los videos musicales de “Gracias A Ti”, “Imagínate” y “Abusadora” (nominado para un MTV Video Music Award 2009).
Los videos del dúo, dirigidos mayormente por Jessy Terrero, siempre sobresalen por sus producciones de gran calidad y estilo. Recientemente, Wisin y Yandel fueron los únicos nominados para los MTV Video Music Awards 2009 y actualmente tienen el mayor número de nominaciones a los Premios MTV 2009, seis en total: Artista del Año, Canción del Año (por Abusadora), Mejor Artista Urbano, Mejor Grupo o Dúo, Mejor Ringtone, y Video del Año (Abusadora).

Top-selling Latin artists and recent American Music Award Nominees Wisin & Yandel have just wrapped filming of their music video for “Imagínate” featuring T-Pain, and starring three successful Latino Hollywood actors, Puerto Rico-born Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break, Transformers), Colombian Paula Garcés (The Shield) and Venezuelan-American Wilmer Valderrama (That 70s Show). “Imaginate” is one of the tracks on the duo’s upcoming album “La Evolución”.
Hollywood Director/Producer Jessy Terrero directed the video, filmed in a cemetery on the outskirts of Los Angeles, with his signature cinematographic style. It tells the dramatic tale of a romantic triangle, between the characters played by Nolasco, Garces and Valderrama, that leads to tragic consequences.
The video for “Imagínate” will be released in November. The duo recently premiered the video for “Gracias A Ti”, the second single off their multiplatinum album “La Revolución” which will be followed by the release of “Gracias A Ti, featuring Enrique Iglesias” which will be included in “La Evolución”.
“La Evolución”, to be released November 24th, is a revamped version of previous album “La Revolución”, which includes 5 brand new tracks as well as remixes and new versions of the songs in the successful CD. The album features a myriad of prominent artists, including: 50 Cent, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, T-Pain, Aventura, Ivy Queen, Ednita Nazario, Franco “El Gorila”, Gadiel and Yomo. It also includes never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of Wisin & Yandel’s worldwide tour and the music videos for “Gracias A Ti” (including the version with Iglesias), “Imagínate” and “Abusadora” (which garnered an MTV VMA 2009 nomination).
The Artists’ videos, the majority of which are directed by Jessy Terrero, stand out because of their quality and style. Wisin & Yandel were the only Latin nominees on the MTV Video Music Awards 2009; and they currently lead the list of nominees for Premios MTV 2009 with a total of six nominations: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (Abusadora), Best Urban Artist, Best Group or Duo, Best Ringtone and Video of the Year (Abusadora).
