En esta reciente celebración de los Billboard Music Awards Don Omar resultó ser el ganador en la categoría “Top Latin Song” con su tema “Danza Kuduro”. El artista compitió en la misma categoría contra Pitbull, Romeo Santos, Prince Royce, y contra él mismo con el tema “Taboo”. Este premio importante se suma al éxito masivo que ha cosechado “Danza Kuduro”, tema Latino que ha trascendido fronteras ocupando las primeras posiciones de radio y ventas en Europa, Asia, Medio Oriente, Australia, Sur, Centro y Norte América, logrando vender más de 2 millones descargas digitales y convirtiéndose en uno de los videos Latinos más vistos en el canal de YouTube.
