EL DUO RECIBE DISCO DE ORO POR SU ALBUM RECIEN ESTRENADO “LOS VAQUEROS: EL REGRESO”

La Plaza de Toros de México vivió una noche histórica este sábado cuando Wisin y Yandel comprobaron una vez más ser los líderes indiscutibles de la música latina urbana al presentarse en concierto ante un público eufórico en la plaza de toros más grande del mundo. Así abrieron su gira mundial “Los Vaqueros El Regreso 2011” con la cual este año visitaran la América, el Caribe y Europa. Más de 30,000 fanáticos formaron parte de un concierto monumental con una tarima impresionante, enormes pantallas con videos alucinantes, 12 bailarines, 8 músicos, un show de luces, pirotecnia y fuegos artificiales impresionantes y una presentación repleta de todos sus éxitos. La tarima estuvo en el centro de la plaza histórica donde solo pocos artistas de alto-nivel han logrado presentarse con éxito. El dúo sorprendió al público al cantar con colegas como Tego Calderón, Franco El Gorila, Tico el Inmigrante y Gadiel; y además fueron sorprendidos por su compañía discográfica, Universal Music, al ser galardonados con Disco de Oro en México por su recién estrenado álbum Los Vaqueros El Regreso, lo cual lograron en su primera semana de ventas. “Abrir nuestra gira en México ha sido algo realmente hermoso, apoteósico, un sueño hecho realidad,” expresó Wisin después del concierto. “Nos sentimos honrados y por encima de todo agradecidos con nuestros fans mexicanos”, añadió Yandel.Este fin de semana, el dúo también se presentó en el Auditorio Telmex de Guadalara ante un público de 7 mil personas. Esta semana Wisin y Yandel toman una pausa en su gira para presentarse en el espectáculo de Premio Lo Nuestro que se transmite en vivo desde el American Airlines Arena el 17 de febrero por la cadena Univision y donde están nominados en cinco categorías. Mexico’s Plaza de Toros was the scene of an historic night this weekend as Wisin & Yandel opened their “Los Vaqueros El Regreso 2011” World Tour in front of more than 30,000 ecstatic fans in the biggest bull rink in the world. Their fans screamed, sang, danced and cheered as they watched their idols perform all of their hits on a gigantic concert stage with larger than life video images, 12 dancers, 8 musicians and an unparalleled light, pyrotechnics and fireworks show. The stage stood in the center of the historic venue where only a handful of elite artists have managed to successfully perform at. The duo surprised the audience by performing with colleagues Tego Calderon, Franco El Gorila, Tico El Inmigrante and Gadiel, and were also surprised by their record label, Universal Music, who awarded them a Gold Record in Mexico for sales of their new album “Los Vaqueros: El Regreso”, a feat they accomplished on their debut week of sales in the country. “Opening our tour in Mexico has been beautiful and astonishing, a dream come true,” expressed Wisin after the show. “We feel honored and above all are filled with gratitude for the love and support we’ve received from our Mexican fans,” added Yandel. On Friday the artists performed at Auditorio Telmex in Guadalajara before an audience of more than 7,000 people.
