Las Vegas, NV – Karol G once again proves why she is Latin music’s leading lady as she nabs the Best New Artist award at the 19th Latin GRAMMY Awards. Shortly after winning, Karol G took the stage and brought the MGM Garden Arena to a roar with an explosive performance of her Diamond Certified Hit Single “Mi Cama”.
The award was presented by Pedro Capó and Halsey who later took to Twitter to congratulate Karol G. “My first Grammy nomination was a massive moment in my life and I was so excited to hand Karol G her award at the Latin GRAMMYs tonight. So well deserved beauty… felicidades” expressed Halsey.
Karol G also joined YouTube Music this week on the launch of an aggressive marketing blitz targeting Latin consumers as the face of an inspiring YouTube Music video spot that aired live during the Latin GRAMMY broadcast.
