As His ARCOIRIS North American Tour

“Took Miami Over The Rainbow... in a vibrant...larger-than-life spectacle… that nearly blew the roof off of [the AmericanAirlines Arena]”

When J Balvin’s recently launched ARCOIRIS (Rainbow) Tour arrived in Miami, and began to fill the arena all the way up to the nosebleeds,” Universal Music Latin Entertainment honored the globally recognized Colombian superstar with two special plaques recognizing his overall career accomplishments, and the double-platinum certification of “Oasis” – his recent #1 collaborative album with Bad Bunny.

J Balvin's Arcoiris Tour Took the American AirlinesArena Over the Rainbow... J Balvin's concert at the American Airlines Arena felt almost like a homecoming Saturday…as the vibrant show made its way to the Triple A…the diverse crowd began to fill the arena all the way up to the nosebleeds. ‘Trip’ is the operative word here: when the curtain fell on the massive stage setup and Balvin opened with 2018 single “Reggaeton,” whimsical visuals of rainbows and animated characters filled the screens while eight dancers dressed as cartoon cloud joined the singer at the front of the stage. As the show progressed, more characters joined the fray and Balvin’s psychedelic stages…  Balvin went on to praise Puerto Rico and the reggaeton forefathers… performed a medley of some of their greatest hits culminating with a rendition of ‘Gasolina’ that nearly blew the roof off the downtown venue….The colorful characters throughout the show are the creations of LA-based, Miami-founded experiential art collective FriendsWithYou….[creating] a larger-than-life spectacle”
