Miami, FL – November 17, 2009 – XTREME, urban bachata’s most successful duo presents “Chapter Dos: On The Verge”, the new edition of their latest release, available today in CD/Digital/Mobile formats. The new release features 5 new recordings inspired by their hit mun2 reality series.
Included in the new album is their latest single “Baby, Baby”, a hypnotizing urban bachata track that has become one of the fastest growing new hits at tropical radio. The video for the single will premiere on the mun2 network this week. Also included on the album is the holiday themed “Devuelveme La Navidad” which also features urban bachata’s newest sensation, Carlos & Alejandra. The two duo’s combined to create a new Christmas classic that is already becoming a new classic.
Other tracks include “Vuelve”, “Friday Night” and “Tu Amigo Con Beneficios”. “Shorty, Shorty”, the single that took Xtreme to superstar heights is also included as a special bonus track. The new songs on the album were inspired by Danny D and Steven Tejada’s experiences during the tapings of their reality show “On The Verge”. The program became one of the popular cable network’s highest rated new programs of 2009 and showcased the dramatic world of the popular bachata duo as they tried to balance their personal life with the perils of the hectic music industry.
In addition to this highly anticipated album, Xtreme will also release a special EP titled “6 Super Hits”. The EP will compile 3 of the new Xtreme tracks (“Baby, Baby”, “Devuelveme La Navidad” and “Vuelve”) with their certified hits (“Lloro Y Lloro”, “Through That Window” and “Shorty, Shorty”) at a very accessible price and will be available at stores throughout the country as well as for digital download.
Last week Xtreme visited the West Coast for special album release concerts and promotional activities. The visit took them from California’s Bay Area where they participated with special meet and greets with their closest fans and then continued south to San Diego where they performed at a special EXA event. Finally they capped off their visit with a sold-out performance at the Conga Room in Los Angeles as part of their album release celebration. This week Xtreme travels to New York City and Miami to continue their national promotion of their new hit albums.

Este nuevo lanzamiento incluye cinco nuevos temas inspirados por su exitoso “reality show” en la cadena mun2.
El exitoso sencillo “Baby, Baby” está incluido en este nuevo álbum. Esta hipnotizante bachata se ha posicionado como una de los temas de mayor aceptación en la radio tropical. El vídeo de este sencillo estrenará en la cadena mun2 esta semana. Además, incluyen el sencillo “Devuélveme la Navidad” junto al dúo que se ha convertido en la nueva sensación de la bachata, Carlos y Alejandra. Ambos dúos se complementan haciendo de este clásico navideño, uno exitoso.
